The pumpkins, gourds, and herbs are together under the grow light. The grow light rest on poles which can be moved up and down as needed in the stand. My husband built me this stand from scrap lumber he had. The holes are two inches apart. I have the plant trays sitting on two inches of stacked scrap lumber to get them close enough to the light to begin growing. The light stays on as long as it is light outside and the blinds stay open also.
